- co-author of numerous publications in a wide variety of journals including The New England Journal of Medicine, The Journal of the American Statistical Association, Cancer, and The Journal of Empirical Legal Studies
- co-author of the report, "A Broken System, Part II", the first study of its kind looking at factors influencing high reversal rates among capital cases in the US
- statistician involved in the study commissioned by the office of the Attorney General of N.Y. to analyze evidence of racial profiling by the NYPD
- experience as a statistical consultant to a division of the National Institutes of Health (NIH)
- past experience in clinical trial design and analysis working for a large multinational corporation based in the US
- experience as head of the Department of Research Design and Biostatistics at one of Canada's largest hospitals
- co-author on numerous publications appearing in journals ranging from medical to sociological fields
- 8 years of teaching experience teaching a variety of statistics and biostatistics courses to university students at 3 different universities
